  • This is your basic Double God Lead Mono AGL team. First things first, this is -not- an ideal team, but this is the team I have, and I've been winning without stones consistently. Here's how it breaks down. I'm assuming you know how character rotations work, because it is VITAL to this fight. If you don't, click here first, because maintaining proper Ki links and the all important Power Bestowed by God is crucial.
  • Rotation 1 is Super Vegito and Ultimate Gohan. They share numerous healthy links, but its mostly about the all-important "Power Bestowed by God" link. Use Vegito to block attacks where you can for that counter strike, hit hard, and don't look back. If you don't have this, you won't win with this team. If you have to choose, give Gohan the super attack; he deals more damage, and a lucky stun can be a godsend.
  • Rotation 2 is much more flexible. You'll note the (*) by Kaioken God and SS3 goku? They're my team 2. They share Over in a Flash (+3 ki), fierce battle, and probably at least 1 other. If SS3 goes first, he can lower defense so that Kaioken God can drop the hammer. Here's the thing though, you can absolutely swap Kaioken God Goku out for a second Vegito... if you have one. I don't. If you take double vegito lead, then also swap SS3 goku out for someone who lints better with Vegito. AGL Gotenks is ideal for the Fused Fighter/Shocking speed combo. Again, prioritize the super attack for who deals the most damage: IE, Kaioken god (Or Gotenks.)
  • Your 3 "spare" characters can honestly be any 3 powerful AGL characters you happen to have. Kid Buu gives healing, Whis gives healing and decent stuns, and the "Leaping higher" Goku has some nice links (And clutch stuns.) If you have the UR AGL Great Saiyaman, I think he lowers enemy attack, and he'd be handy, but again, bring what you have. Shocking Speed or Prepared for Battle characters will link in nicely to Kaioken Goku and Super Vegito/gohan, so bring those if you want loads o' super attacks.
IN-FIGHT STRATEGY
  • STAGE 1: First off, Items. I took Senzu, Whis, Fruit of Might, and Dende*. You can mix that around a little bit, but Whis/Icarus is required. 1, you just want to survive 4 rounds. Whis lasts two rounds, and you get two of them. Use them both here, its where they're needed most. If you get lucky and one of your units lands a clutch stun, it'll save you a TON of stress, but between your massive health bar and vegito blocks, you -will- survive. Probably need to spend a healing item (or two), but that's okay, this is the hardest part. Try to get your rotations set up correctly, because the MOMENT stage 1 is finished, you need to come out swinging.
  • STAGE 2: He's STR now, and vulnerable for 4 turns. Pop fruit of tree of might and hammer him. Nothing pretty, nothing elegant, just hit him so hard he'll think that fist was a freight train made entirely of other smaller freight trains. 2 fruits buys you 4 turns of almost guaranteed super attacks, and you want to inflict as much pain as possible.
  • STAGE 3: Here's where things get tricky. In stage 3 Buu has a chance to heal for 400,000 health, an entire health bar. If you keep Vegito next to Gohan, you get power bestowed by god for 50% of the fight, so cross your fingers and hope he only tries to heal when you can negate it. Again, getting a rare and lucky stun here can save you some headaches. Keep hitting him, heal when you need to.
  • STAGE 4: You're running out of time. This buu is the second weakest in the fight, and due to the truly massive health pool, Vegito blocks and Kid Buu heals should make this a breeze, but your health bar isn't the issue. This is usually where I'm able to finish him.
  • STAGE 5: Time's up. Kill him here or abandon all hope.
  • STAGE 6: If you make it to stage 6, the fight is lost. The TEQ kid buu here is as powerful as the INT from stage 1, except now he has type advantage. You get 1 turn before he dunks you through the floor; his super hits for 100K, and his basics hit for 20K each. You can burn a full heal every turn to buy a little time to crawl to the finish, but if he knocks you down, don't waste a dragon stone.
Items notes!
  • It is possible to swap Dende out for a ghost usher. You have less healing, and the first half of the fight is more risky, but a ghost usher can prevent Buu from healing, and that's damn handy when your main enemy is time. If you take Whis, you should be alright, but I've been rolling the dice with the Power Bestowed by god link, and that turns 400K healing into a measly 12K; laughably small. Even when he does heal, I've still had enough damage to burn through him, so I'll keep my dende's.
  • Alternatively, you can dig into the stash and use some -really- rare items. I found one that gave 3/4 a health bar and attack up for two turns (Future Bulma, I think), and one that gave 50% health with a high damage reduction... but I only had 4 of each. That said, this is the kind of fight you save those items for, so don't feel guilty about digging deep. If you use Future Bulma at the beginning of stage 2, it tops you off just fine for the rest of the fight, and adds damage where it counts. Either way, look at your support items and see if you have some epic ones hiding that would be useful.
  • Again, this isn't a perfect team. I'd LOVE to swap the leaping higher goku for a second vegito, but again, this is what I had, and I have 4 consecutive wins without using stones. Fight hard, fellow Saiyans.

  • This is an advanced Fierce Battle team. It is focused on damage reduction and healing.
  • All the Rotations are focused on survival and when you get SSGSS Vegito hit him hard. Block with the SS3 Vegeta because of his passive, Super Saiyan Vegito for counter and damage reduction, and SSGSS Vegito for type advantage and counter if you can. If not Kaio-Ken has a good block too. Focus on surviving for the first transformation.
  • On his second transformation NUKE him as hard as possible you have the type advantage on over half you team. You should have level SA 10 on SS Vegito, Kaio-Ken, SS Gogeta, and SSGSS Vegito. This allows you to hurt him as hard as possible. Note on his second stage his super seals your super this can really make the fight hard if he supers you at the wrong time.
Items to bring!
  • I brought a senzu, cargo, Ultimate Health Drink, and another health item or a damage reduction or boosting item. Note all of these items can be changed depending on what you have.
Final Notes!
  • I can kill him on his second transformation unless, the orb placement really tried to fail you. Those items may not work but, they did for me and I generally beat it with no stones unless, he was a Super Buu and Supering right when you don't need it.



Slow and steady wins the Race

One of the most important Cards in this team. Always have him in a first or second slot. You will also need to have him at least at Super Attack 5 to debuff the Boss.

Strategy
Items: 1 Ghost Usher, 2 Baba. Healing Items aren't always needed, but it's never wrong to have an extra Senzu with you.
  • Fight 1: INT Buuhan. Use the Ghost Usher right at the beginning to give yourself some room to breathe. Start debuffing and hope that Demigra and Turles get a stun off. Always keep Demigra with one Buuhan and Turles with the other Buuhan. You might also want to use a Baba right after the round you used the Ghost Usher so you can debuff him further. His attacks for the last 2 rounds should do around 2-5k damage with only the super being dangerous.
  • Fight 2: STR Buutenks. You might want to use the other Baba in the first or second round of this fight so you can get the debuffs on him without fearing his seal. Stuns might also come in handy, but don't rely on them too much.
  • Fight 3: INT Buucolo. This is pretty much a breather round. You don't need to care about his heals - just use the time to debuff him and heal yourself with your Buuhans.
  • Fight 4: PHY Super Buu. Depending on your luck, you might have to use some healing items here because he hits you almost as hard as Buuhan. Just be glad that this fight is over in 2 rounds, so a lucky stun from Demigra or Turles could save the use of healing items.
  • Fight 5 and Fight 6: You pretty much won at this point. Change Demigra and Turles with Chilled and Buucolo and spam with the super attacks of your Buuhans, your Buucolo and your Chilled. Kid Buu's damage output will be ridiculously low after some super attacks (around 50 on normal attacks and 20k on super attacks). Just keep healing with the Buuhans and after some attacks, you have won.
  • Now do it again until you got all the awakening medals you need.

One of the most important Cards in this team. Always have him in a first or second slot with Super Buu (Ultimate Gohan), taking advantage of the Link Skill Big Bad Bosses & Metamorphosis

  • Fight 1: INT Buuhan. Use the Ghost Usher right at the beginning and get Turles to stun him. Always Super Attack with Super Buu.
  • Fight 2: STR Buutenks. You might want to use the other Baba in the first or second round of this fight so you can get the debuffs on him without fearing his seal. Keep stuning with Turles.
  • Fight 3: INT Buucolo. Try to heal yourself with your Buuhans the max you can.
  • Fight 4: PHY Super Buu. Depending on your luck, you might have to use some healing items here because he hits you almost as hard as Buuhan. Just be glad that this fight is over in 2 rounds, so a lucky stun from Demigra or Turles could save the use of healing items.
  • Fight 5 and Fight 6: Just keep healing with the Buuhans and after some attacks, you have won.

The most important card in this team combined with Friend card to give you significant stat boost. Link skill "Metamorphosis" with Super Buu (Piccolo) gives you a little help on HP, added up by its passive skill, the HP recovery is sometimes good enough to get you through without support items' help starting from fight 3.

Best of this card is its a drop instead of a summon. I have it at SA9 levelled up using the same drop. Shocking Speed gives you an additional Ki boost with your Leader and Friend so your Super Buu (Ultimate Gohan) will be easily at 7 Ki. Its SA also greatly lowers enemy's DEF so that's another value add.

Most important of all is the passive skill that gives you a high chance of stunning the enemy. Remember to use normal attack and not SA though. DEF of Hit is also relatively high, if Super Buu (Ultimate Gohan) is not around to guard, consider Hit as an option.

Try go for an SA10 awakened Buuhan. Lower than SA10 is also fine as we are not looking for speed kill in this team. Always put in the first or second slot unless its with your leader and you may want to put them in 2 different rounds to maximize the HP recovery chances.

Game play video
  • Items: Ghost Usher, Senzu Bean, Dende, King Yemma.
  • Overall: No rush and manage towards TEQ forms (fights 5 and 6), your party time.  Guard, recover HP with Leader / Friend.  Stun with Hit and Turles.  Yes, the enemy HP is still 5 full bars at fights 5 or 6, but you will get your win!
  • Fight 1: INT Buuhan. If you have no Super Buu (Ultimate Gohan) to guard, especially when the enemy is attacking 5 times, use Ghost Usher.  Otherwise, King Yemma should be good enough.  I survived without using any items with Leader or Friend guarding where my team's HP was ~138K. 
  • Fight 2 to 4: Keep the overall strategy mentioned above. Let the enemy heal, even back to full HP.  Use items when HP goes to a risky level, especially Fight 2, try to play safe and not to take chances.  I felt fight 2 (STR) was tougher than fight 4 (PHY) even with the type disadvantage.
  • Fight 5 and Fight 6: Grab your pop-corn, sit back and relax. SA of enemy seldom go beyond 30K damage while normal attacks generally dealt damage below 10K. You can recover easily from team members' passive skills.
  • The luckiest scenario: In the luckiest round, I only used 2 Senzu Beans and 1 Fruit of the Tree of Might (actually the fruit was not essential). You can see from the screen capture below, Buu Kid with its last bit of HP and my remaining support items.

  • Make the sealing round the first round so that when buu changes he will get sealed straight away (because it gets taken off when he changes).
  • Make the Nuking round the second round.
IN-FIGHT STRATEGY
  • You can last 2 rounds of normal hits from buu before healing, so sealing is very important to be done straight away.
  • Try to arrange the characters as fast as possible before the STR round.
Items notes!
  • Senzu, Dende, Icarus (reduce ATK for 2 rounds by 35%), Android 8 Heal 70% HP and DEF +50%
  • You will use all items during this fight. Less with Black. You have to use all 4 Icarus and Android 8 items during the STR Buutenks round for survival reasons.
Instructions round by round.
  1. BUUHAN: Try to seal and move nuking chars to the next round by putting them in the 3rd slot. Get hit by Buuhan hopefully not a SA other wise you will have to heal.
  2. Still rearranging chars to put sealers or android 17 into the next round out of the nuking round. Heal if you were super attacked. Might get a chance to seal here. Might get a chance to nuke.
  3. Heal hopefully this is the first time. Try to seal if you can and keep the spheres that can be changed for the next round for Vegeta to change. Hopefully no need to heal yet.
  4. Nuke again! Hopefully no need to heal because he is sealed.
  5. BUUTENKS: Use Icarus straight away, and heal with Android 8 for the DEF Boost. Change ki and seal. Also be wary of Buutenks sealing your attacks if he goes first in the round.
  6. Nuke again hopefully no heal, but very likely you will have to if you didnt seal him first. 
  7. Use icarus again and Android 8 again for DEF boost. Seal again and ki change again with android 17.
  8. Nuke, hopefully no heal.
  9. BUUCOLO: Ok back to the INT and good Defense form our PHY Team. You might have 2 Dende's left here, maybe 1 dende if with a Broly team. But..... heal if you have to, and seal, not vita to seal as this buu is weeker and spends more time healing. Change ki for next round.
  10. NUKE!!! Probably, hopefully a DOKAN MODE NUKE to finish him quickly!! Broly can help finish him off in this round with his dual attacks some times.
  11. He is still alive? Seal and change ki again. Avoiding the ki if you didnt DOKAN MODE yet so that Goku can do it in the next round.
  12. NUKE or DOKKAN MODE NUKE
  13. If you have no more healing items it is tough to get through here. He stops healing though so you just need to make it to the next round for goku to nuke and he will beat PHY Buu easily with a big hit.
  14. NUKE!!!
  15. Never made it this far with the PHY team. Usally killed PHY buu, Usually killed Buucolo.
I managed to kill Buuhan in 4 rounds once, but that was thanks to some Citical hits and dual attacks that i have given to Goku. Broly users usally have some critical hit upgrades which helped a bit 47 000 crit hit from Broly added to the quick death of Buuhan slightly.
